I managed teams in the late 1980s and early 1990s doing artificial intelligence research and products at HP.
During this time my teams and I worked on:
- Frame base reasoning tools/research
- AI applications
- REDUCE (a mathematics tool)
- Expert systems and tools
- Common LISP development environments
In addition to the work efforts, I also did some work on a public domain LISP language called XLISP:
- XLISP 2.0 Language Reference (Dec 11, 1989, in the public domain, also available in web format)
- XLISP 2.0 Objects Primer (Feb 3, 1990, in the public domain)
